You know, I never really liked tag when I was a kid. Hmm, wonder why?
Anyhow, Dane tagged me with this meme and because I love him ridiculously, I've decided to be a good girl and ignore the temptation to pretend like I didn't see it.
This meme was "originated" by SupaMum, and here are the rules: I ask a question and who I tag answers the question and then answers my question and thereby tagging other people and asking them a question. The question can be anything. And it can cause a thread conversation.
Dane's question: Who was the first celebrity/famous person that you ever had a fantasy (however innocent or dirty) about?
Jack Wagner--I had some rather lovely fantasies (some innocent, some dirty) about being Frisco's Felicia on General Hospital.
My Question: If you were given the opportunity to go back in time and completely change, slightly alter or otherwise delete one choice, decision or action you made that had a negative impact on the rest of your life, would you take it?
As for me, no, I wouldn't. Everything that's happened in my life--good, bad or otherwise--was meant to happen and to go back and change just one thing, no matter how small, would alter the course my life has taken and who's to say it'd be for the better? Nobody. It's a gamble and one I don't feel is worth the risk.

If I could change one thing, it woudl be not letting the intensity of an attraction scare me into walking away from an American guy I met while travelling in Ireland.
He'd said he wanted to travel from Dublin to Belfast with me, but I left for the ferry the next morning without waking him. I got mad at myself for being a chicken shit, and called the hostel the next day to tell him where I was and say I'd wait for him, but he'd already checked out. We never even exchanged email adresses or anything.
There are some decisions I absolutely would change if given the chance--to hell with "learning from my mistakes" and such bullshit. Some mistakes are better left unmade entirely
I could not agree more with you SD (and Nina). It is absolutely impossible to judge whether some very unpleasant events, or seemingly bad decisions could have been done different. There simply is no ‘control experiment’ (sorry, a little biased), so let’s just be who we have become ... Thanks for sharing ! - A

I think that's the definition of a good life, really. So few people can say such a thing and mean it, like you, Nina and Aragorn. It's my goal too, and so far it is true...
